Julgranljus is Swedish for "Christmas Tree Candles". The Christmas tree we are talking about is the wooden candle holder from Sweden that we sell (pictured below). These candles are made to fit in those holders. They are 1.2 cm wide, which is almost 1/2". The candles are 100% stearin; they burn cleaner than paraffin and make a pleasing clinking sound when they tap together. Box of 20, available in white or red. Made by VIO Ljusfabrik; they've been dipping candles in Vedum, Sweden, since 1962. 

As with all candles, take care in use. Burn in a draft-free spot, and do not burn unattended.
