Putting Up Mangoes by John Cutrone

  • 3600

Any gardener who has dealt with the problem of too many tomatoes will empathize with this short humorous story of overwhelming subtropical abundance. Letterpress printed from handset metal types on paper from the French Construction line and bound in a wrap printed from historic wood types. The linoleum cut is by Convivio partner Seth Thompson. The edition numbers 195. This was the first book we made in our Lake Worth studio, so it was fitting, we think, to print a tale about the old mango tree that watches over it. 8 pages, 2001.

We offer this edition in its regular bound version at $36, and we also offer it in unbound sheets for bookbinders who want to bind it in their own way. $30 for the book in sheets.
