Here's a really nice sparkly Advent calendar for younger kids. We're particularly fond of the angel at the top of the carriage, which looks like some of the vintage wooden German ornaments that we place on our tree each year. Made in Germany by the Korsch Verlag Company; they began making Advent Calendars in Munich in 1951, and this particular calendar is a reprint of one they released in 1955. It was designed by Kurt Brandes. About 12" square.
