One of the iconic Christmas decorating traditions of Seiffen, the Saxon town where almost all of our German ornaments, nutcrackers, and pyramids originate, is the Seiffen salt miner paired with an angel, both carrying candles. Here is one of each in a lovely pair to hang on your tree. Handmade from carved and turned wood and hand painted by artisans of the Dregeno Cooperative in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains. Each figure stands about 2" tall x 3/4" wide x 3/4" deep. Set of 2 in the traditional Seiffen pairing: one angel and one miner. Made in Germany.
