Balthasar was one of the the Magi, the three wise men, who visited the child on that first Christmas. Balthasar comes bearing a star, much like the Star Carolers who travel the villages in Northern Europe singing at the Epiphany. Handmade from natural woods by artisans of the Christian Ulbricht Company in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains.
