Here's a classic Erzgebirge Christmas ornament motif: lovely little angels sitting upon a sliver of the moon. We have many just like this on our tree each year, though ours are from the 1970s. This contemporary version is handmade from turned and carved natural-finish woods and hand painted by artisans of the Christian Ulbricht Company in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains.
