These lovely pastel snowflake ornaments for your tree are handmade from wood and hand painted by artisans of the Graupner Workshop in Crottendorf, in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains. The workshop, noted for their bold use of color, is run by Kordula & Ronald Graupner and their 15 employees. Each of these snowflakes comes with a string for hanging. Set of 6 snowflakes includes two each in shades of blue, green, and lavender. Each snowflake is decorated on both sides (no skimping here!). The photo is not exactly to scale; the three ornaments in the left column measure about 3 3/4" across, while the ornaments in the right column are slightly smaller, measuring about 2 1/2" across. The variety in sizes actually makes for a more pleasing set. The stock we have is probably the last that will come in, so if you really like these, waiting might be a bad decision.
