Colorful Guadalupe Font by Sr. Montesinos
Our newest piece from artisan Saul Montesinos in Puebla, Mexico, is this holy water font, made entirely by hand, featuring Our Lady of Guadalupe and the angel holding her upon his shoulders, amidst green leaves and colorful flowers. Sr. Montesinos makes these by hand from clay and wire (the leaves and flowers are bendable) and paints each by hand, too. The small font is intended to hold holy water, but it will hold a small candle, a small succulent, or even bird seed equally well. Suitable for outdoors; we recommend a protected (covered) area if you are using the font outdoors. There is a built-in hook in back for hanging. Colors will vary according the Sr. Montesinos' whim; no two are alike. Each is just about 10 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide x 4 3/4" deep.
