Mismatched Teacup & Teapot Earrings, Handmade in Detroit

  • 1850

We're not crazy about the invasive iguanas that roam our yard, eating the plants in our vegetable garden, but we are rather fond of the good folks at The Divine Iguana in Detroit, Michigan. They make these elegant yet delightfully quirky earrings by hand, pair by pair, in their home studio. This mismatched pair includes a blue teapot and a yellow teacup, under glass cabochons. And though the photos here show a bead above the cabochon, the earrings we have currently have that added blue bead dangling beneath, rather than above.

Reverse decoupage glass cabochon earrings in elegant antiqued brass findings. Nickel-free brass ear wires and backs. The image area is about 5/8" or 16 mm: about the size of a dime, and the earrings dangle about 1 1/2" from top of cabochon to bottom of accent bead. Boxed pair of two, purposely mismatched. As these are handmade, expect some variations from one pair to the next.
