Blackened Wax Primitive Folk Art: Peas Seed Packet
We have a corner cupboard in our kitchen and this is the sort of thing we display there, part of our rotation of items through the seasons. It's got absolutely no use but to make folks smile (and sometimes that's the most important thing). It's a primitive little seed packet in blackened wax with cinnamon. A bit like a candle, but one you don't burn. Place it atop a bowl of potpourri, or set it on a branch of your Christmas tree. This one is a pumpkin seed packet, but we have two others, as well: corn and pumpkins. You might get all three for a lovely display.
4" tall, 3" wide, and a healthy 1" thick. Does not stand on its own; this piece will need to lean against something sturdy to stand vertically. Looks beautiful with greenery from nature.
Blackened beeswax, paraffin, and coconut oil blend, with hand rubbed cinnamon, lovingly crafted and poured one at a time by Victoria Bowser in Worthington, Pennsylvania.
