Reusable Cloth Bags: Milagro
Sometimes you need a milagro (a miracle) to get the shopping done. These reusable cloth bags are an excellent means toward that end! Pretty, fun, and an eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic bags. Plenty of other uses besides shopping... use them for organizing, too, and even for gift wrapping. Machine wash cold, line dry. Each set includes two 100% cotton drawstring bags in two sizes: 8.5" x 11" and 13" x 17".
We have matching reusable cloth sponges, as well, and a new tea towel! Bestow them together for a lovely present. (You might include a few of our handpainted tin hearts from Mexico, too, to complete the theme.)
These reusable bags are made in India using Fair Trade / Fair Wage practices, and then hand-printed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by the artisans at Kei & Molly Textiles. We love their woman-owned company for more reasons than we count: they use eco-friendly inks in their shop and filter waste water to keep pigments out of their local water system; they operate almost completely on solar power; they create good jobs for immigrants and refugees in their community and sponsor the Kei & Molly Scholarship for immigrant students at their local high school. Theirs is a company driven by love, and that, we think, is the best way to run a company.
