German Christmas Pyramid: Star Trio
One of Germany's most enchanting Christmas traditions is the candle-lit pyramid, which families often place in the front window of their homes for passersby to see. Pyramids can be quite tall and elaborate, with multiple tiers. This one is more petite, with a trio of star children and sheep. Perhaps the most unusual thing about this pyramid is the lovely shade of blue on the main structure. The rising heat from the candles causes the propellor to rotate, resulting in the magical motion. This pyramid is handmade by the artisans of the Richard Glaesser Company in Seiffen in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains. About 7" tall x 5" wide x 4" deep.
We'll include a box of pyramid candles made especially for this size pyramid, and when you need more candles, we offer them year-round. Our authentic pyramid candles are also made in Germany; the candles for this size pyramid are sold in boxes of 20.
