A classic, handmade by artisans in Italy of painted wood and articulated, too, so Pinocchio can strike all kinds of poses: his head moves, his arms move, his legs move... all based on the motion of you, the puppeteer, in the way you move your hand. Our articulated Pinocchio marionette stands about 10" tall, and he is attached with strings to the wooden control bar. Shapes of components may vary according to the whim of the artisan, but all variations are very much classic Pinocchio from the original Italian novel for children written by Carlo Collodi and published in book form in 1883. Perfect at Christmastime, but our handmade Pinocchio marionette is content to keep you company all year long, especially on a bookshelf next to a copy of Carlo Collodi's book.
