Tin ornaments, made and painted by hand, are a mainstay of the Christmas celebration in Mexico, and so are nativity scenes. Here, Mexican artisans have created an entire nativity scene using the same bright and colorful painted tin technique, but this one is a "camino" ... like a path. Each of the 7 painted tin figures is attached to a band of polished tin that stands on its own. Probably the easiest nativity scene ever to set up! Just place it on a table or shelf and there you go. About 10 1/2" long x 3" tall x 1" deep. Handmade by artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico.
