One of a kind, made from papier mache and wire, with a sugar skull head that's made from painted artists' paste. Each is dressed in a gown made of lacquered paper. The most stunning part of each of these Fridas, though, is the artists' paste head, which is painted by hand and full of dimensional features... right down to the iconic Frida eyebrow. Though the Fridas in the photos have painted black eyes, all the ones we have currently have sparkly glittery eyes and jeweled earrings, too. 

Sold individually. Handmade by artisans in Jalisco, Mexico. Each is unique and each is about 9 1/2" tall. Our elegant Fridas are dressed in all kinds of different long gowns; yours might be dressed just like one you see here, or in an entirely different gown. Each depends on the whim of the artisan who makes them; please enjoy that spirit of spontaneity.
