Muerto Kitty
This line of Dia de Los Muertos inspired folk art is created by the Armas Family (the same family that makes the Day of the Dead notecards and journals we sell). The painting and collage are done by Annette Armas and her daughter, Theresa. Annette's husband, José, cuts the wooden shapes that Annette and Theresa paint and collage upon. (He also packs our orders and ships them to us.) The Armas Family is based in Pomona, California; they've been making cards and artwork inspired by their Mexican heritage for over ten years now.
Muerto Kitty features a festive Dia de Los Muertos kitty cat and is collaged and hand painted on wood with a hook for hanging. About 5 1/2" tall x 4" wide x 3/4" deep. Each is unique but will look very much like the one you see here. Handmade in California.
