Here's a distinctly German treat: J.G. Niederreger & Co. have been making marzipan in Lübeck, Germany, for more than 200 years. Each of these solid marzipan bars is dipped in dark chocolate and foil wrapped. Not terribly sweet; we'd say the sweetness level is just right. 4.4 oz (125 grams).

Ingredients: Almonds, dark chocolate (chocolate liquor, sugar, coca butter, milk, soy lecithin, vanilla extract), sugar, sugar syrup, artificial rose water flavor. May contain traces of hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, brazil nuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts, and egg.
