German Christmas Pyramid: Santa & Snowman

  • 29200

One of Germany's most enchanting Christmas traditions is the candle-lit pyramid, which families often place in the front window of their homes for passersby to see. Our personal favorites are the smaller pyramids, like this one, that are so beautiful in their simplicity. Here we have a winter scene with a little child, a snowman, and Santa Claus, revolving around a fir tree. The figures are painted wood, while the structure is unfinished wood. The rising heat from the candles causes the propellor to rotate, resulting in the magical motion. We'll include a full box of 50 authentic German pyramid candles. This pyramid uses our standard German Pyramid candles (pyramidenkerzen, pictured here), which come in red, white, or honey. We sell the candles year-round, so you always know where to get more.

This lovely pyramid is handmade by artisans of the Dregeno Company, a cooperative of woodworkers founded in 1919 in Seiffen, in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains. About 10" tall x 9" wide x 7 1/2" deep.
