German Christmas Pyramid: Skiers with 3 Tea Lights

  • 19900

One of Germany's most enchanting Christmas traditions is the candle-lit pyramid, which families often place in the front window of their homes for passersby to see. This pyramid is made by the artisans of the Richard Glaesser Company in Seiffen in the heart of Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains. This lovely pyramid makes use of a most graceful arch as its structure with three skiers rotating around a central tree. And the general wintry theme makes this a pyramid you can use to brighten your nights all winter long (not just at Christmastime).

Just about 11" tall x 8" wide x 8" deep. All elements are hand turned, hand carved, hand painted. The rising heat from the burning candles causes the propellor to rotate, resulting in the magical motion. Includes three tea lights, and we sell the German tea lights year-round so you always know where to find them (though any standard tea light will do). Do not burn unattended; light candles only in a draft-free location.
