He stands over 28" tall and weighs in at nearly 13 pounds of solid natural-finish and hand painted wood. Handmade by the the artisans of the Christian Ulbricht Company. They've been making nutcrackers by hand in Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains, where wooden nutcrackers first originated, since 1928.

Each part of this royal king is solid wood, including his amazing crown. His distinguished salt & pepper hair and beard are lush faux fur, and the epaulets of his royal uniform are trimmed in metallic golden tassels. This is a working nutcracker (the lever in back operates his jaws) and a piece worthy of heirloom status. Over 28" tall x 10" wide x 7" deep in a satin finish. Handmade in Germany.
