Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is one of our favorite stories here at Convivio Bookworks, so we couldn't resist these small batch hand-poured soy wax candles made by Emily Barrett of West Hempstead, New York. Sleepy Hollow isn't far at all from her home, and her Sleepy Hollow candle is a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove delicately intertwined with the sweet aroma of Apple and the warmth of sandalwood, while underlying notes of woodsy cedar musk are reminiscent of dense forests surrounding the hamlet. The scent of falling leaves dancing in the crisp autumn breeze mingles harmoniously with the comforting fragrance of autumn spices... the essence of Sleepy Hollow. 7 oz., single wick. Soy wax made from sustainable sourced materials and without sulfates and parabens. Glass container is minimum 50% recycled glass. Burn time 60 hours. Made in the US by Emily and her mom.
