We printed this poem by Michael Burkard for Longwood University's Somewhere Far From Habit project. The type was set digitally then printed letterpress from photopolymer plates on the Vandercook 4 press. We printed it alongside a cyanotype print of a found early 20th century photographic negative, exposed in the Florida sun. The cyanotype chemistry was brushed on by hand, so no two are exactly alike. 45 copies were printed in the edition, with additional artists' proofs. 2009.
