Advent Calendar: Moonlit Village
Oh. My. Gosh. We just can't get enough of this one. It's a reproduction of a German Advent calendar first produced in 1955 by the Richard Sellmer Verlag company in Stuttgart; they've been printing Advent Calendars since 1946. An informative insert explains a bit about its history. Ships flat, but unfolds into a charming 3-D Christmas village scene that is almost 19" wide x 8.5" tall x 11.5" deep. No glitter on this one, but the nighttime imagery is just as magical without it. Made in Germany.
