Beware Krampus, the Christmas Devil of Germany! Krampus accompanies St. Nicholas on his travels each 5th of December: St. Nicholas's Eve. While St. Nicholas leaves presents in the shoes of good boys and girls, Krampus deals with the naughty kids, carrying them off in his basket. Krampus and St. Nick travel together mainly in Germany and Austria.
