Not far from us, across the lagoon in Palm Beach, is Whitehall, the Guilded Age mansion of Henry Flagler. The Christmas tree there each year is decorated in a very patriotic fashion with little American flags and boxes of animal crackers. This Uncle Sam ornament would fit in nicely, too. This vintage ornament, circa 1990s, is handmade from wood and painted by artisans in Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains. This was made by the Steinbach workshop. Uncle Sam stands just almost 4" tall.
