One of Germany's most enchanting Christmas traditions is the candle-lit pyramid, which families often place in the front window of their homes for passersby to see, and now the artisans of the Erzgebirge are making pyramids for springtime, too. This springtime pyramid features a family of bunnies chasing each other around a forest tree. The rising heat from the illuminated candles causes the propellor to rotate, resulting in the magical motion. There are even little flowers painted on the pyramid structure. Handmade by artisans of the Richard Glaesser workshop in Germany's Erzgebirge region. About 7" tall x 5" wide x 4 1/2" deep.

By the way, sometimes the tree in the center is tinted green, sometimes it's just natural wood. We'll chalk that up to the whim of the particular artisan who's made your pyramid.
