This is a beautifully simple way to mark the days of Advent. We light our advent candle each evening during dinner, and burn the taper down just enough to mark each passing December night. These beautifully simple tapers are 100% stearin, made in Sweden. We love stearin candles! They burn cleanly and efficiently and are longer lasting than paraffin candles. They also happen to make a delightfully satisfying sound when they bump into each other. (Is it worth buying two just to hear the sound? That's up to you, but we think it is.)

It takes 45 to 60 minutes to burn from one day's marker to the next. Made in Sweden. Just over 11 1/2" tall. Candle holder not included, but we do offer a lovely simple metal taper holder that you may use to hold your Advent candle. As with all candles, take care in use. Burn in a draft-free spot, and do not burn unattended.
