This spiced Christmas tea was commissioned by Alison Gardiner (she produces the British Advent candles we sell) from the fine tea blenders at a small shop called Gadsden Tea in Portsmouth, UK. It's a black tea base from Assam, India, blended with Christmas spices like ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom. Excellent strength and a rich, full flavor, perfectly paired with milk and sugar (and perhaps some Christmas cookies) any time of the day.

Responsibly sourced tea: sourced to the Ethical Tea Partnership Standard. Reusable tin, illustrated by Alison; we love her hand lettering. 50 grams (about 1 3/4 ounces) of loose leaf tea: the Brits are not terribly fond of tea bags... but may we suggest using one of our mesh tea balls or stainless steel tea strainers with this lovely tea? Please note that this tea is packaged inside a foil pouch in the tin and is sold by weight, not by volume: emptying the contents of the foil pouch into the tin (which is about 4" tall x 3" wide x 3" deep) will fill the tin about halfway with deliciously spicy Christmas loose leaf tea.
